Fluorescent Secondary Antibodies

Fluorescent Secondary Antibodies are detection reagents conjugated with fluorescent dyes, which emit specific signals upon excitation to enable highly sensitive, multicolor simultaneous detection of target proteins. Common fluorescent dyes include FITC (495/519 nm), a cost-effective classic green dye, and its more stable alternative Alexa Fluor 488; the bright orange-red Cy3 (550/575 nm); red Alexa Fluor 594 (590/617 nm) with low background; far-red Alexa Fluor 647 (650/668 nm) featuring deep tissue penetration ideal for confocal and super-resolution imaging; the frequently used bright PE (565/575 nm) and APC (650/660 nm) for flow cytometry; as well as far-red and near-infrared Cy5/Cy7 (649/670 nm; 750/776 nm) suitable for multiplex labeling and in vivo imaging.
