Scientific Background
The 34-1-2S antibody reacts with the H-2Kd/H-2DdMHC class I alloantigens expressed on nucleated cells from mice of the H-2Kd/H-2Ddhaplotype. H-2Kd/H-2Ddis involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD8 proteins. The 34-1-2S antibody cross-reacts with H-2K MHC class I alloantigens of the b, s, r, q, or p haplotypes.
