Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) is a multifunctional plasma protein primarily involved in regulating the colloidal osmotic pressure of blood (Probable). Additionally, BSA acts as a key calcium and magnesium transporter, binding about 45% of circulating calcium and magnesium in plasma (By similarity).
