Anti-GATA1 antibody [RP23040007],Abcam,AB308028

What are recombinant multiclonals? Recombinant multiclonals are a mixture of recombinant antibodies co-expressed from a library of heavy and light chains. They offer several advantages including: - The sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies by recognising multiple epitopes - High batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility - Improved sensitivity and specificity - Long-term security of supply - Animal-free batch production View our range of recombinant multiclonal antibodies .

Scientific Background

Target data Transcriptional activator or repressor which serves as a general switch factor for erythroid development (PubMed : 35030251). It binds to DNA sites with the consensus sequence 5'-[AT]GATA[AG]-3' within regulatory regions of globin genes and of other genes expressed in erythroid cells. Activates the transcription of genes involved in erythroid differentiation of K562 erythroleukemia cells, including HBB, HBG1/2, ALAS2 and HMBS (PubMed : 24245781). See full target information GATA1
