Anti-Zebrafish Intestinal Epithelium Basolateral Pole Cells antibody [2H9],Abcam,AB71504

The transparency of the juvenile zebrafish and it's genetic advantages make it an attractive model for the study of intestinal differentiation and renewal. Antibody 2H9 recognises a membrane-associated epitope on the gut epithelial cells, concentrated basolaterally. In one month old zebrafish it appears especially prominent in the basl parts of the elongated cells of the villi. This antibody is a useful marker of apicobasal polarity in the epithelium.
