CD41/61, also known as GPIIb-IIIa, is a heterodimeric cell surface protein, expressed on Chicken thrombocytes and other cells of the thrombocyte lineage. Avian thrombocytes are nucleated equivalents of mammalian platelets with functions in coagulation and phagocytosis.
