Mouse Transmembrane 4 L6 family member 1 (TM4SF1) ELISA Kit,Abbkine,KTE70203

• Do not mix components from different kit lots or use reagents beyond the kit expiration date.• Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.• Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination. • Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 °C in the sealed bag provided.• Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.• It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.

Scientific Background

TM4SF1 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. This encoded protein is a cell surface antigen and is highly expressed in different carcinomas. The predicted peptide sequence was 202 amino acids long and contained 3 predicted NH2-terminal hydrophobic transmembrane regions which were followed by a hydrophilic region containing 2 potential N-linked glycosylation sites and a COOH-terminal hydrophobic transmembrane region.
