Mouse Transmembrane protein 59 (TMEM59) ELISA Kit,Abbkine,KTE70173

• Do not mix components from different kit lots or use reagents beyond the kit expiration date.• Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.• Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination. • Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 °C in the sealed bag provided.• Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.• It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.

Scientific Background

TMEM59 is a membrane bound protein that is localized to the Golgi apparatus. The precise function of TMEM59 is not known, however it has been demonstrated that expression of TMEM59 protein inhibits Golgi glycosylation of amyloid precursor protein (APP) and blocks APP cleavage by the α- and β-amyloid precursor protein secretases and therefore inhibits formation of the beta amyloid peptide that forms amyloid plaques in Alzheimer's disease.Hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (HSPCs) possess the potentials of self-renewal, proliferation, and differentiation toward different lineages of blood cells. Characterization of the gene expression profile in CD34(+) HSPCs may lead to a better understanding of the regulation of normal and pathological hematopoiesis.
