Mouse Tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis-inducing ligand receptor 1 (TRAIL-R1) ELISA Kit,Abbkine,KTE70060
• Do not mix components from different kit lots or use reagents beyond the kit expiration date.• Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.• Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination. • Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 °C in the sealed bag provided.• Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.• It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.

Scientific Background
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor is activated by tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TRAIL), and thus transduces cell death signal and induces cell apoptosis. Studies with FADD-deficient mice suggested that FADD, a death domain containing adaptor protein, is required for the apoptosis mediated by this protein. Pan et al. (1997) found that, as with FAS, TNFR1, and DR3, overexpression of DR4 induced apoptosis. However, unlike the other 3 death receptors, DR4 did not use FADD to transmit the death signal, suggesting the use of distinct proximal signaling machinery.
