Purified anti-Hexokinase II Antibody, Hexokinase II, W19163B, BioLegend, 944001

-This clone was tested for ICC on HeLa cells fixed and permeabilized with 4% PFA plus Trixon X-100, 4% PFA plus methanol, or methanol. The former two methods resulted in nuclear staining, inconsistent with the published cytosolic and mitochondrial outer membrane-associated localization of hekokinase II. The latter method (methanol only) resulted in hexokinase II staining, but the signal observed did not meet our sensitivity criteria. We therefore do not recommend this clone for the application.-This clone failed to immunoprecipitate hexokinase II from HeLa extracts. We therefore do not recommend this clone for the application.
