Ganitumab ELISA Kit is a quantitative ELISA kit for detection of Ganitumab.Ganitumab (AMG-479) is a mAb against IGF-IR which also inhibits binding of both IGF-1 and IGF-2 ligands to IGF-IR. The therapeutic value of AMG-479 was evaluated in several preclinical settings including androgen-dependent prostate cancer, and combined with androgen-deprivation therapy. Ganitumab was found to be most potent against VCaP xenografts when it was used in combination with complete androgen-deprivation therapy. After 4 weeks of treatment, tumor volume was reduced by 72% and growth suppression was maintained over 16 weeks of treatment.
