Pozelimab is a monoclonal antibody biosimilar expressed in CHO cells, targeting C5, for use in laboratory research applications. This product is not suitable for use as medicines or in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications. Pozelimab is an investigational fully human monoclonal antibody, invented using Regeneron's proprietary VelocImmune technology, which aims to block the complement signaling pathway by binding to complement factor C5. It also prevents the destruction of red blood cells (hemolysis) that causes paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria and other disease symptoms.
