Phospho-p38 MAPK (Thr180/Tyr182) (D3F9) Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor®594 Conjugate)#8632, Cell Signaling Technology (CST), 8632
Phospho-p38 MAPK (Thr180/Tyr182) (D3F9) Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody (Alexa Fluor®594 Conjugate) recognizes endogenous levels of p38 MAPK only when phosphorylated at Thr180 and Tyr182. This antibody conjugate does not cross-react with the phosphorylated forms of either p44/42 MAPK or SAPK/JNK.

PathScan®Phospho-p38 MAPK (Thr180/Tyr182) Sandwich ELISA Kit#7946, Cell Signaling Technology (CST), 7946
PathScan®Phospho-p38 MAPK (Thr180/Tyr182) Sandwich ELISA Kit detects endogenous levels of p38 MAP kinase phosphorylated at Thr180/Tyr182 in human and mouse cells. As shown in Figure 1, a significant induction of p38 MAP kinase phosphorylation at Thr180/Tyr182 can be detected in HeLa cells using this Sandwich ELISA Kit following treatment with anisomycin or UV irradiation. The level of total p38 MAP kinase remains unchanged as shown by western analysis (Figure 1). This kit detects proteins from the indicated species, as determined through in-house testing, but may also detect homologous proteins from other species.

MAPK11 is a Ser/Thr kinase involved in a signal transduction pathway that is activated by changes in the osmolarity of the extracellular environment, by cytokines, or by environmental stress. It preferentially phosphorylates transcription factor ATF2. This protein is activated by phosphorylation on threonine and tyrosine by MKK6, and is inhibited by pyridinyl-imidazole related compounds. Highest expression levels are in the brain and heart, with additional expression in the placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas.

Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase 11 (MAPK11) Antibody, Abbexa, abx011781
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the MAP kinase family. MAP kinases act as an integration point for multiple biochemical signals, and are involved in a wide variety of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation and development. This kinase is most closely related to p38 MAP kinase, both of which can be activated by proinflammatory cytokines and environmental stress. This kinase is activated through its phosphorylation by MAP kinase kinases (MKKs), preferably by MKK6. Transcription factor ATF2/CREB2 has been shown to be a substrate of this kinase. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been observed.
